Miss Laura
Principal
Laura has been dancing since she was two, owns Dickens Heath Studio & Warwickshire Dance Academy (WDA) which she started 20 years ago. Passionate about dancing, she has numerous qualifications including her IDTA Licentiate in Ballet - the highest qualification you can obtain.

Miss Laura attended Pattisons College in Coventry and went on to dance professionally in Europe. Most of that time was spent dancing with a touring circus which she says was great fun.
Miss Niamh
Teacher
Niamh has been dancing in all different genres from a young age and trained in gymnastics as a British gymnastics member for over 8 years. Niamh trained at Stratford Upon Avon completing a level 2 Performance Arts course. She then went on to train at Pattison College completing her level 3 & 4 Dance Teacher qualifications and diplomas in ballet, tap modern, freestyle and recently the Gym/Acro diploma with the IDTA. She is currently still training to complete more qualifications.
Niamh has performed as a backing dancer for Apache Indian and musical youth at the Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony And has also performed at Disneyland USA & Hollywood Boulevard and continues to perform in local musical theatre society shows across the West Midlands! She is currently Assistant Choreographer for the the Albany Theatres annual community Pantomimes.​
Miss Laura M
Teacher
Laura has been dancing since the age of 5 years old. Laura has always had a passion for dance, whilst studying Early Education Studies at Oxford Brookes University, Laura also gained her IDTA Freestyle Dance Associate qualification, passing with Distinction, and a few years later Laura took her love for Cheerleading to the next level, obtaining her Level 1 and Level 2 coaching qualifications with the British National Cheerleading Association.
Laura has also performed at prestigious venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, London. Saddlers Wells, London. The Birmingham Hippodrome, Birmingham Symphony Hall and the The Core Theatre, Solihull.
Meet the Teachers
Miss Dani
Teacher
Dani has been dancing since the age of 3 years old and has taken part in many shows and competitions.
​
Dani trained at Stratford College and gained a National Diploma in Dance.
​
After taking a break in professional dancing to have a family, Dani is putting her dancing shoes back on and is now teaching for WDA & Dickens Heath Studio in a variety of dance style classes!
Miss Lucy
Teacher
Lucy has just graduated from Pattison's College after completing her musical theatre course. She has always danced at Pattison's and has taken classes to train in all styles & genres.
​
Lucy is qualified at distinction level with a Level 4 Diplomas in Ballet, Tap and Modern Jazz. She also has Associate Freestyle qualification at distinction level.
​
Lucy has loved dancing since a young age and has performed in various shows and events over the years, including the closing ceremony of the Birmingham Commonwealth games. She also regularly performs as Disney Princesses at local parties!
